Educating end users to help prevent most problems.
Over the years we have evaluated many different software’s, one that has stood the test of time is Malwarebytes. We have witnessed many infections detected by Malwarebytes that other software could not detect. Our technicians feel that Malwarebytes does such an outstanding job at detecting infections that we recommend utilizing the free version.
It is not vary often that an infection will slip past a good antivirus such as Kaspersky, but it is possible. In any case where you feel something may have slipped past your antivirus just open Malwarebytes, get the latest updates and run a full scan of your system.
Malwarebytes has recently upgraded their software and added more features for the paid service. Remember we recommend just using the free version. Our customers use to be able to run the premium Malwarebytes alongside of their antivirus. We no longer recommend running the premium version as we have found it causes the system to run very slow and attacks the antivirus.
Malwarebytes is not a replacement for your antivirus either; we have seen that it is not very good at prevention. We always recommend using a good antivirus like Kaspersky. If you ever do have a case where Malwarebytes detected an infection and it cannot remove it, take it to your local repair shop as soon as possible. Delaying the cleaning of infections can cause damage to your operating system or programs and could allow more infections into your system.
